Arya Wellness (female only) is my choice if you’re one of the girlies. It’s like a big ol sleepover where it’s near enough impossible not to come out with friends.
For everyone else, Puri Garden Hotel & Hostel gives off similar vibes—that resort feeling full of backpackers looking to get involved in the Ubud scene.

Depending on the location and type of room, on average, the price starts at $9 – $17+ per night. Of course, if you’re splurging on a private room, expect to pay a little more.
Is Ubud cooler than Seminyak?
Hell to the yes. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re in holiday mode I can see the appeal of Seminyak. But personally for me, Ubud is soooo much cooler. Rice paddies, waterfall hopping and some of the best yoga in all of Bali including some pretty sick yoga retreats, Ubud has a hell of a lot going for it.
