COOLEST PLACE TO STAY

Teton Village

Based at the foot of some of the largest mountains in the area, Teton Village is a great place not only to enjoy some outdoor activities but also to specialize after a day of skiing or hiking.

FOR FAMILIES
jackson hole - Grand Teton National Park
FOR FAMILIES

Grand Teton National Park

A holiday in Jackson hole wouldn’t be complete without a visit to its main attraction: Grand Teton National Park. This park offers the chance to hone some new skills as well as see some amazing wildlife and nature.

Jackson Hole is a truly unique place where you can go on some once-in-a-lifetime adventures. The valley boasts some of the most incredible views in Wyoming State, and it’s a haven for all kinds of wildlife, from elk to beavers!

Historically, the valley was sacred to Native Americans and became a settlement in the 1870s. With the chance to visit Yellowstone National Park situated just up to the north, it’s not a surprise that it’s so popular with tourists!

If you’re looking for exciting, bustling cities, Jackson Hole isn’t the place for you. Although there are some settlements, the valley is largely untouched so its outstanding natural beauty can shine through.

However, this doesn’t mean there isn’t any civilization. My top place to stay in Jackson Hole for your first time is the historic downtown Jackson. It offers some lovely cafes, restaurants, and bars, as well as fascinating museums teaching you about the local area.

Moose in the wild
Moose-ed be nice to see this.

Another area I recommend is Teton Village, which I think is the coolest place to stay in Jackson Hole. As a ski village, it’s the perfect place to take on the slopes. But don’t worry, there’s plenty to do here other than ski if you’re not a big fan of snow.

For families, staying at Grand Teton National Park is the best option. With so much wildlife at your doorstep and so many ways in which to see it, this is the best way to have some quality time with the kids whilst keeping them entertained.

Although Jackson Hole is not the cheapest holiday destination, it doesn’t just have to be for people with lots of money. You can still travel here without breaking the bank. By heading to the less-visited South Park you’ll still be close to all of the valley’s greatest attractions without paying the inflated tourist prices.

Getting here isn’t too tricky. Although remote, there are plenty of roads through the valley and buses run between the settlements dotted along it. Jackson Hole Airport is also nearby if you’re coming from far away!
