When it comes to luxury city breaks, you can’t get any more elegant than London. With the highest number of 5* hotels than any other city, you can be sure to find a stay that truly makes you feel spoiled.
On top of that, London has a ton of history that’s reflected in its architecture. Some of London’s top hotels are so elegant and decadent, they make Buckingham Palace look like a hostel.
But I’ll be honest, London can be stressful. The honking of the red buses, the sheer amount of people, and I dare not tell you what happens when you stand on the wrong side of an escalator…
That’s why you should book a hotel that offers the perfect place to relax in after a day in the chaos. In fact, why not opt for a hotel with a private hot tub in London? Hot tubs are made to pamper you and sooth your aching limbs. I can’t think of a better way to stay in London.
With over 75 5* hotels in the city, finding the best hotel in London with a private hot tub is no easy task. That’s why I have prepared this guide that showcases the best of the best.

Best Hotels with Hot Tubs in London
This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but booking a room with its own hot tub in London isn’t going to be cheap. More often than not, you’ll only find private spa baths or jacuzzis in luxury suites in high-end hotels.
Of course, staying in a luxury hotel means you get all the top quality service, as well as amenities like on-site spas and restaurants, indoor swimming pools, and all-day room service.
However, there are some more “budget friendly” (if you can use that term to describe London) options in London too. You just need to know which neighborhood in London is more affordable!
When you’re booking a room in one of London’s top hotels, you have so many to choose from, that it would be a shame if you didn’t stay in one of the oldest, most iconic buildings in the city. These hotels keep all their historical charm but with modern fixtures and fittings.
Another thing to note is that because London is such a big city, many of the hot tub rooms tend to be more indoor spa baths. Simply put, space is limited in the big city, and not too many hotels have the capacity for terraces and outdoor jacuzzis.
That being said, I have found a couple of London hot tub hotels with private terraces and outdoor jacuzzis and included them on my list below.
What to Look for in Hotels with Private Hot Tubs in the London
One thing that’s common amongst these hotels is that sometimes regular bathtubs are advertised as spa baths. So just make sure you double-check that the bath is a full spa bath if this is a deal-breaker for you.
By definition, because most of these hotels are super luxurious, they’ll likely be located in super central, conveniently near the top attractions, perfect for international travellers to London. However, if you’re from London and are looking for a weekend staycation, you might want to look for something a bit outside the hustle and bustle where the prices are cheaper.
If you’re dead-set on booking one of these hotels with private hot tubs in London, you’ll likely be spending a bunch of time soaking up your luxury suite at the hotel. In this case, take advantage of the on-site spa, restaurant, room service, and bar. This way, you won’t have to go too far for anything during your stay.

10 Best Hotels in London with Hot Tubs
Right, now that you know a bit more about what to expect from these types of hotels, let’s take a closer look at the top 10 hotels in London with private hot tubs!
Best Overall Hotel in London – Squint Splash Suite, The Exhibitionist Hotel
The Exhibitionist Hotel was designed for lovers of art and all things aesthetic. The hotel is set in a series of 18th-century townhouses and has been refurbished using modern fittings. But what’s most special about this spot is that each room is uniquely decorated using original artwork, quirky linens, and bespoke furniture. No two rooms are alike here.
This hotel with private hot tubs in London is also perfectly located in the heart of the city. It’s opposite the Natural History Museum in South Kensington and is within walking distance of the V&A and the Science Museum. Pretty much all the famous shops and restaurants you would want to visit are nearby too.
All the rooms here have bathtubs and walk-in showers, but my favorite room is the Squint Splash Suite (otherwise known as the spa suite). This room has its very own personal hot tub.

Best Hotel in London for Couples – The Chelsea Harbour Hotel
The Chelsea Harbour Hotel and Spa is well-known in London’s hotel scene for being one of the most luxurious hotels. Maybe it’s because every room here is a suite, and the hotel offers a health and fitness club and restaurant with views of the Thames marina.
Each suite has its own private living area and a spacious bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The Kings Penthouse Suite is built for royalty, featuring a huge lounge with city and marina views, two bedrooms, and of course, a hot tub.
While the suite has two bathrooms, the master bathroom at this London hot tub hotel is the place to be. The entire room is clad with black and white marble, and the bathroom features an overflowing spa bath, and a private sauna/steam room. It’s basically like your own personal spa.
Most Beautiful Hotel in London – Suite at the Bentley London
When you think of a classic five-star hotel in London, the Bentley is what comes to mind. Located in the heart of Kensington in a historical building, this hotel is within walking distance of Kings Cross Road.
High ceilings, decorative skirtings, crystal chandeliers, and antique furnishings can be found throughout the building. The hotel also features a world-class restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner.
This hotel has a bunch of different suites, and most are fitted with a large indoor spa bath in the ensuite bathroom. These full marble bathrooms are as elegant as they get, with period-inspired lighting and brand-name toiletries. I can just imagine dimming the lights and enjoying a peaceful evening in this tub.
Most Affordable Hotel in London – Deluxe Room, New Road Hotel
Affordability is relative when talking about the best hotels with jacuzzis in London. However, this Whitechapel hotel seems to strike the perfect balance between down-to-earth and luxurious.
The hotel has a super modern feel about it, with lots of glass, mirrors, and industrial-inspired architecture. The bedrooms are simple yet luxurious, with high-quality linens and floor-to-ceiling windows inviting a ton of natural light into the space.
Some of the ensuite bathrooms have their own hot tub. However, it’s the Deluxe Room with a Terrace that has me wanting to book a room here. This spacious room has a balcony terrace with a built-in outdoor tub. The views from the tub are to die for – overlooking old and new city views from classic brick houses to high-rise skyscrapers.
Budget Tip: Dorms in London start from $10USD per bed. They’re the cheapest accommodation in the city. Search for hostels in the area!
Over-The-Top Luxurious Hotel – Luxury Conservatory Suite, The 41 Hotel
It isn’t too challenging to find a luxurious suite in one of the hotels with private hot tubs in London. In fact, most, if not all, of the hotels on this list are over four stars.
However, the 41 easily comes in first as the most opulent hotel in the city. The hotel is designed to feel like an upscale London club, featuring an Executive Lounge that offers additional food and drinks for guests staying in one of London’s most quicky hotels.
The interiors follow a black-and-white theme. Each bedroom is decorated uniquely with bespoke furniture and decorative touches. The Luxury Conservatory Suite is my favorite, not only because it has its own spa bath but because the bedroom is set under a glass conservatory roof.
Designer Hotel in London – Penthouse Suite, The Hari London
‘Sleek and sexy’ are the two words that come to mind when describing The Hari London. The hotel is located in the heart of Kensington near Chelsea, a short walk from just about all the major city attractions you could wish to visit.
This modern hotel is decked out with contemporary furniture, interesting lighting, and spacious rooms. This hotel with private hot tubs in London has its own fitness center as well as an onsite restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace.
The Penthouse Suite has its own balcony with city views as well as a private lounge with a cozy gas fireplace. The bathroom looks like something out of a James Bond film. It’s entirely clad in black marble, from the floors to the walls to the ceilings, with a large spa tub as the centerpiece.
Best Airbnb Aparthotel in London – Luxurious Apartment with Whirlpool Tub
This Aparthotel is as charming as it is eclectic. Located between Hackney and Islington, it’s walking distance from a tube station that can connect you to most parts of the city.
The apartment has the best of both vacation rental and hotel vibe, as you have your own space but with access to hotel amenities such as security and laundry facilities in the building.
The studio is small but decked out with beautiful interiors. Although it’s a tight squeeze, the room includes a basic kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare a simple meal. There’s also a full desk and adequate space to get some work done.
Take note that the spa tub is in the same room as the bed and the kitchen in this apartment. The steam shower and toilet have their own separate room. This is an especially unique tub, with a waterfall feature, colored lighting, and glass walls.
If you’re backpacking London, this is an affordable hot tub hotel for you!
Hotel With Terrace in London – Junior Suite, The Standard London
If you’re a fan of modern contemporary style, you’ll feel right at home at The Standard London. The hotel is set in a modern brutalist-style building from the ’70s and is decorated to match.
The Junior Suite in this hotel has its own private terrace fitted with a beautiful oak bathtub. While this technically isn’t a spa bath, it truly gives the same effect. Located on the eighth floor of the building, the tub overlooks exquisite city and park views. The room is inspired by California-modern style, with oak beams and warm wooden touches throughout.
This hotel’s other notable features are its in-house library and Sound Studio, which hosts weekly events. As one of the top hotels with private hot tubs in London, of course, there is a bar and terrace restaurant that serves delicious meals throughout the day.
Pet-Friendly Hotel in London – Suite at The W London
If you know a thing or two about fancy hotels, you’ll definitely be familiar with the W. They’re a branch of hotels that offers luxurious accommodation and spa facilities across the world.
True to W style, the W London in Leicester Square boasts spacious modern bedrooms which have been beautifully kitted out with contemporary interiors. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and huge flat-screen TVs with an impressive library of media.
Each ensuite bathroom here looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. White marble countertops, mirrored and glass features, and funky lighting complement the whole aesthetic. Some suites at this pet-friendly hotel are even equipped with their own private jacuzzi tub.
The trendy bar downstairs overlooks the bustling streets of Soho. Delicious cocktails and food are served at the bar and there are even music events sometimes. Of course, the hotel also has its own spa and beauty center, and is ideally located near all the top places to visit in London.
Best Hotel for a Weekend in London – The Penthouse Suite, The Mandrake London
Even though it’s at the bottom of the list, the Mandrake is definitely one of the best hotels with private hot tubs in London. You’d never believe it was located in the busy center of Westminster, with its whimsical tropical-inspired interiors and outdoor terraces.
With lush plants hanging from the ceiling and an epic central location, it’s a retreat from the city – in the middle of the city, perfect for a weekend in London!
The rooms are equally as impressive, decked out with unique interiors and bespoke furnishings. My personal favorite room is the Penthouse Suite. This suite is decorated head to toe in white marble and features neutral linens and color tones.
The master bathroom is overflowing with natural light and features a full dressing room area, a walk-in steam show, and a central spa bath made entirely of marble. We’ll take the penthouse suite, please!
