I feel like the UK doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Sure, it can be a bit wet and dreary from time to time but this little country is PACKED with history. Not only is England rich in history and gorgeous in the summertime, but the UK winter can also be an absolute wonderland (cast your mind back to The Holiday… now that is my Airbnb goals).
The city of Worcester, located in the west Midlands region of the UK, is no exception. The city is famous for its cultural attractions, beautiful surroundings, and rich history. My top highlights were the medieval Worcester Cathedral, River Severn, The Commandery, and the Worcester Porcelain Museum.

What to Expect from Airbnbs in Worcester
Now, it’s important to clear the air from the beginning – every Airbnb is different. Each one has its own unique charm and eccentricities, and that’s what makes them stand out from one another. Imagine they were all identical – that would be pretty damn boring, right?
The idea of the best Airbnb in Worcester is a very subjective thing. Your choice of rental unit is dependent on a number of factors such as budget, amenities required, and general look, feel and vibes.
You can expect a number of different Airbnb types in Worcester ranging from apartments and condos to cottages and houses. If you’re lucky, you might even come across a barn conversion, canal boat, or tree house!
Generally speaking, most of the Airbnbs in Worcester are conveniently located and are within walking distance of attractions like the cathedral and the river. Shops, bars, restaurants, and pubs follow the same trend and are never very far off.
If you’re looking for a more rural-style retreat then you might find yourself having to hop in the car and take a small drive. Luckily, the surrounding scenery is rather lush and beautiful so it’s not too much of a burden.
You can expect the usual amenities on offer from rentals in Worcester. Fully equipped kitchens, utility cupboards, washers and dryers, WiFi, and free parking on the premises are generally the norm with some units boasting outdoor spaces, fireplaces, and even a hot tub.
One thing is for certain though – you’ll always experience a local touch by booking an Airbnb when travelling in the UK!

Hide Yo’ Money!More Epic Airbnbs in Worcester
But wait, there’s more! I couldn’t stick to just five Airbnbs in Worcester (sue me). Here are some more epic rentals in Worcester:
Curie at the Old Infirmary
Now, nothing says history like a Worcester Airbnb that’s housed in the original Old Infirmary dating back to around 1745. The self-contained studio apartment still has the original floors and exposed beams to retain its original character but has been stylishly modernised in its fit-out.
There’s a kitchenette for heat-and-eat meals (or more if you’re pretty creative in what you can cook with limited resources) and a kettle for tea and coffee. But there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and pubs close by as the apartment is pretty centrally located. The unit also comes with WiFi, free parking, and complimentary toiletries and condiments.
Luxury Garden Flat in Listed Building
Sticking with the historical building theme here for the moment, this one-bedroom flat is housed in a building that was built for a former Bishop of Worcester. And if it was good enough for a bishop, it’s good enough for you and I! While the flat has been recently refurbished, it retains its original charm, with traditional sash windows and high ceilings.
Amenity-wise, there’s WiFi, a washer, heating, and a hairdryer as well as beautiful communal gardens that are at your disposal. This spot is ideal for travelling couples looking to explore the city and surrounds for a couple of days, or those travelling for work.
Spacious Bed/Sitting Room
This open-plan bed/sitting room is the perfect short-term unit for those passing through Worcester for a day or two. It’s a wonderfully light and bright loft-style apartment that boasts plenty of space to relax and a comfortable bed to retire to after a busy day.
There is no kitchen in the unit, but if you’re like me on an express visit, then you’ll much prefer to just pop out to one of the local bars, pubs, or restaurants. They’re all within walking distance from the rental but so too is the local station, Worcester Swan, and the Worcester Cathedral. There’s also WiFi, a TV, a hairdryer, a small refrigerator, and a kettle for making tea and coffee (and maybe instant noodles).
Stylish Two Bedroom House With EV Off-Road Parking
This stylish two-bedroom house is the ideal Airbnb in Worcester for families, friends, and nomads alike. It’s pretty versatile in terms of its sleeping arrangements, with a king bedroom, another with two single beds, and a sofa bed – sleeping six guests comfortably. The unit is located just outside the city so it’s a short commute in but nothing you can’t handle!
Besides, there’s free parking available on the premises and even an EV charging station for those who have switched already over to the future. My favourite feature, however, is the outside backyard area complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture. I don’t even need to say it, but I will anyway – SUMMERTIME BBQs!
WhiskAwayStays – Victoria House – Apartment 4
This apartment rental in Worcester has been recently refurbished and it’s nothing short of amazing! The interior has been dialled up and no expense is spared when it comes to the finishes – it’s a real 5-star experience.
It works well for a quick in-and-out stay but equally as well for longer-term stays. The main bedroom even has a dedicated workspace complete with a monitor too for those important Zoom calls on the go.
The high-end kitchen is fully equipped (and some) and eagerly awaits you to smash out some epic Ramsey-esque creations. It would be rude not to! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the location is amazingly central too – you won’t even need to start your car.
Historic 3BR City Gem + Parking
This stylish three-bedroom flat is another one of those Airbnbs in Worcester that’s a little part of history in the city. It is located on Friar Street, a symbolic medieval street in the centre of Worcester and is the perfect blend of old and new. Hundreds of years of history are combined with modern comfort and luxury touches.
It is conveniently located within the city and attractions like the Worcester Cathedral are within walking distance away. Aside from this, there is parking for two cars (no large ones, unfortunately), a dedicated workspace, a washer and dryer, and a fully-equipped kitchen too. Everything you need for a comfortable weekend away for you and your friends or family.
Spacious Double & Private Bathroom-Flexy Check Out
This is the perfect spot for those travellers who are looking for a rental in Worcester that’s a little easier on the pocket. It’s a spacious room within in a house complete with an en-suite bathroom and even a couch, but with access to common spaces. You’ll have access to the living room, kitchen, and garden so you don’t have to stay cooped up in your room all the time!
Besides, you’ll want to get out and explore the city and surrounds – there’s so much within walking distance. The city centre is only a 15-minute walk away, while the majestic River Severn is only a 5-minute trot away. There are also plenty of amenities to ensure you have a comfortable stay – WiFi, hairdryer, full-equipped kitchen, and of course, that epic bathtub to relax in!
Old Rectifying House Superior Apartment
One of my favourite parts about this apartment is the bedroom – I mean, there’s not much I don’t like about it, to be honest. There’s just such a cool desk setup that begs to be used, complete with its leather chair – it gives off real boss vibes. The whole fit out of the apartment is sleek and classy, from the linen and furnishing to the fully-equipped modern kitchen.
You’ll also have access to the outside area which is wonderfully sunny and has some outdoor furniture for you to engage lizard mode and bask away. It’s also ideal for those summer evenings drinks and snacks or even sending an email or two – the sky is the limit really. For additional accommodation, there’s a sofa bed that is perfect for an adult or works equally as well for a couple of kiddos.
WhiskAwayStays – Victoria House – Apartment 3
This squeaky clean and recently refurbished Airbnb in Worcester is perfectly located in the heart of the city, a hop and a skip from Foregate Street Station. It’s the ideal setup for a family or friends, boasting two king bedrooms as well as an additional sofa bed in the living room.
The fully-equipped kitchen has been fitted with modern appliances including a washer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, and hob. Everything you need to produce some Masterchef-quality meals for those who have the privilege of tasting them. There’s also a smart TV in both bedrooms and the living room so everyone can watch their favourite series without fighting. Here I am, just solving the world’s problems one solution at a time.
Riverside Eco-Bungalow. Tranquil setting & views
This final rental in Worcester is so great, I’ll just let it speak for itself- jokes, I’ll still tell you about it. It features a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washer and modern appliances including an air fryer. Don’t bash it if you haven’t tried it, they are life-changing – I swear by mine!
There are also three double bedrooms so it’s perfect for some friends, family, or even a few couples. The best part about this eco-bungalow, besides its wildflower roof, is its proximity to the river. You can wake up with river views from the rooms, or lounge on the deck in front catching some rays while overlooking the water. The world really is your oyster!
FAQs About Airbnbs in Worcester
Never be afraid to ask that burning question for fear of sounding less than intelligent – chances are that many others have the same question too! Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I get about Airbnbs in Worcester:
What To Pack For Worcester
Pants, socks, underwear, soap?! Take it from me, packing for an Airbnb stay is not always quite as straightforward as it seems. Working out what to bring and what to leave at home is an art I have perfected over many years.
Ear Plugs
Snoring dorm-mates can ruin your nights rest and seriously damage the hostel experience. This is why I always travel with a pack of decent ear plugs.
Hanging Laundry Bag
Trust us, this is an absolute game changer. Super compact, a hanging mesh laundry bag stops your dirty clothes from stinking, you don’t know how much you need one of these… so just get it, thank us later.
Sea To Summit Micro Towel
Hostel towels are scummy and take forever to dry. Microfibre towels dry quickly, are compact, lightweight, and can be used as a blanket or yoga mat if need be.
Monopoly Deal
Forget about Poker! Monopoly Deal is the single best travel card game that we have ever played. Works with 2-5 players and guarantees happy days.
Grayl Geopress Water Bottle
Always travel with a water bottle! They save you money and reduce your plastic footprint on our planet. The Grayl Geopress acts as a purifier AND temperature regulator. Boom!
Don’t Forget Your Worcester Travel Insurance
Unfortunately, things can go wrong when you least expect it. This is why good travel insurance is essential before you head on your trip to Worcester.
ALWAYS sort out your backpacker insurance before your trip. There’s plenty to choose from in that department, but a good place to start is Safety Wing.
They offer month-to-month payments, no lock-in contracts, and require absolutely no itineraries: that’s the exact kind of insurance long-term travellers and digital nomads need.
SafetyWing is cheap, easy, and admin-free: just sign up lickety-split so you can get back to it!
