Sticking with the modern theme for the moment, Bayview Heights has it all – a modern layout, modern finishes, and a modern feel. This actually happens to be one of my favourite Airbnbs on this list purely based on the amazing kitchen it has.
If you love cooking as much as I do, then you’d probably also be sold on this spot after seeing the kitchen. But there’s plenty more to the apartment – there’s a cosy lounge with an open-plan dining area adjacent to the kitchen.
The rooms are light and bright, with plenty of natural light flowing in, although this is a trend throughout the apartment. Both rooms feature queen beds, with one of the rooms housing a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair for those location-independent workers. Lastly, there’s a great outdoor patio area with a high table and chairs for those morning coffees and evening sundowners.
Gem 3 Gladstone – Suva CBD 2 Bedroom Apartment
Gladstone Gem is exactly as the name suggests – a real gem! Located bang in the middle of Suva, the location doesn’t get much better than this. The apartment itself is wonderfully light, bright, and modern with stylish fittings and finishes that really add that luxurious touch to the place. It can sleep up to three guests across its two bedrooms, with a perfect little spot to work in the one bedroom.
The unit also has one bathroom with a shower as well as both a washer and dryer for those laundry needs on the go. There’s a fully-equipped kitchen too with more of those modern fittings as well as a great little outdoor patio for enjoying your freshly prepared meals and sipping on your morning beverage.

Looking for a nice homely Airbnb in Suva that isn’t going to break the bank? Then this next spot has your name all over it. It’s a short 10-minute drive into the centre of Suva, with the supermarket, restaurants, and other shops all within walking distance. The two bedrooms both feature queen beds but they also each have a floor mattress if additional sleeping space is required.
The rest of the apartment is pretty uncomplicated and has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. There’s a fully-equipped kitchen, a dedicated workspace, WiFi, HDTV, as well as free parking on the premises. You’ll also have access to a shared pool if you wish to cool off at the unit instead of walking down to the beach.
The City Edge
As the name suggests, The City Edge apartment lies on the outskirts of Suva, 15 minutes from the CBD. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, the apartment doesn’t have one but two master bedrooms. So, each room has its own double bed with an en suite bathroom. The room also has a great desk setup with an Ergo chair, with WiFi throughout for all those remote work needs.
In addition, there’s a great shared pool outside as well as a BBQ grill and outside seating – I think you can see where I’m going here. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the ocean is only a one-minute walk away so that fresh breeze and those daily dips await.
City Home
Once again, it’s all in the name here! City Home is super centrally located in Suva and is only a five-minute walk into the city centre. Here, you will find a whole host of shops, restaurants, and bars to cater for all your needs while you’re staying in and exploring the city. The home has three bedrooms with a variety of sleeping configurations so it’s perfect for a few couples or a family.
Inside, you’ll also have a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a TV, and one bathroom. There are also laundry facilities on-site complete with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board. The Nasese seawall is a stone’s throw away and is great for those morning or evening strolls to get the blood flowing.
