Florida has always been a firm favourite for me since visiting as a kids on some wonderful family trips. From flying through the air on rollercoasters, relaxing on the endless tropicals beaches to taking a hovercraft through the alligator-infested everglades or even hitting up the cities.
There’s plenty to do in The Sunshine State. Boasting a warm tropical climate, miles of white sand beaches, and a super laid-back atmosphere, it’s no wonder me and the rest of the team have visited on countless occasions. What’s more, it’s got something for everyone, from a romanic couples vacay to an action packed family holiday.
A hotel or resort might seem the obvious place to stay whilst visiting Florida, and I did that the first few times I visited too. However, staying at a B&B offers the chance to sample the southern hospitality the state is known for (after the weather!).
